Mail Call Couriers has been a leader in the transport industry for 28 years. We are a local family owned and operated business and have a particular emphasis on encouraging and supporting working parents by offering flexible working hours. We are based in Mosman.
We are currently looking for dynamic, positive, proactive and hard working Telesales Representatives.
As a Telesales Representative, you'll contacting potential customers by telephone. Your job is to try and persuade them to open an accounts and trade with Mail Call Couriers.
Your working day is spent on the phone making high volumes of outgoing calls to warm leads. All calls are B2B during business hours.
Calls made to potential clients will include:-
- Describing the Mail Call product and benefits.
- Giving advice about how these may benefit customers personally.
- Gather and document information about the customer.
- Enter your notes into a computer, including dates for follow up calls.
- Open accounts and encouraging clients to trade once they have done so.
The work is fast paced and intense, and you have only a short amount of time to build rapport with customers and explain the features and benefits of the product.
Hours and Environment
We have a lot of university students, working parents and mature people returning to the workforce. We would like Telesales Representatives to be full time but for the right candidates we can be flexible on days and hours.
Full-time, you'll usually work 37 hours a week. You'll work in an open plan office, with a sectioned workstation containing a computer and telephone headset.

Training
Training is usually provided in-house. It may include an induction period, with role playing exercises in a simulated environment, before making calls to actual customers.
You'll then usually spend a short period of time gaining experience without the pressure of achieving targets. However, when experienced you'll be expected to progress quickly.
If you're successful, you can achieve rapid promotion and salary increases.
Salary/Income
From $40,000 plus on costs for FTE's working 9am-5pm daily.
If you are experienced we are willing to review part time roles and salary will be commensurate to the days and hours worked.
Commission is uncapped and our successful Telesales Representatives have earnt $12,000-20,000 p.a .
